For a period of two and a half years I collected examples of advertising in order to demonstrate that the use of embedded and manipulative advertising was an ongoing aspect of advertising and not simply an issue that the advertising profession could dismiss as a historical aberation or as an unimportant aspect of their professional activities. The linked pages are the result. I doubt if the results would be radically different were I to apply a similar amount of effort at present (2007).
